The Snowdon Ranger

this was our best feelgood day so far, the welsh countryside beautiful, the weather perfect and the distance just right.

The north west of England us a busy place and the A6 took us through Kendal, Kancaster, Preston, Liverpool, Birkenhead and off into Wales. Fast and much nicer than the M6.

Once again the scenery in Snowdonia blew us away, we ducked into the national park after a quick lunch in Rhyl, and it was great, photo stops every couple of miles and fun dry roads.

The hostel was great, right at the foot of Snowdon on the edge of a lake, and we prepared a supper of salami and cheese before a Snowdonia Ale and couple of games of pool saw us to bed.

We were up bright and early this morning having opted for the £4.50 breakfast supplied by the hostel at 745am and on the road at about 9.

We’re into Wales day 2 now, at a petrol station in Poetmadawg wending our merry way south towards Briatol and the south west. 202miles yesterday and great riding!

More later, happy Sunday!
