another day, another extremity of our small little island.
170miles exactly after we left our campsite in minehead we pulled into the Land’s End carpark. Along the way we stopped at Boscastle, devastated by the flooding in August 2004, humbled to be there and amazed at the rebuilding effort. We gas a quick pasty there before heading off again, past Tintagel along the Atlantic Highway. Our next stop was to be St. Ives, however it was thronging with tourists so we settled for cream tea and scones at a place absolutely in the middle of nowhere before riding the last six miles to the end.
We’re inPenzance now, where the pirates come from, just looking for a campsite. The sun’s been out all day and we’re both thoroughly knackered, easilly one of the best days we’ve had riding, through small villages a plenty.
We’re now End to Enders!
